Like Our Fathers was a commission from Usdan’s Center of the Arts Wind Ensemble.  It has strong Americana influences and is the lowest difficulty piece I have written for winds.  The ranges are rather conservative and the work should play well with just about any size ensemble. This is one of my best selling works!

This was my first composition for wind ensemble.  Though I have figured out much about writing in this medium since that time, I have always had a fondness for the honesty and simplicity of this work.

This piece was written for a specific sized ensemble so some liberty can be taken in coverage assignments; for example the bassoons can double the trombone parts etc..
