Endeavor is an uplifting piece written in a broad American “Alla Marcia” style. While composing it, I wanted to practice writing in the language my favorite composer, John Williams, uses in his Olympic and Nightly-News compositions.
The work is generally tutti but relies on strong brass section principals. It is perfect for the opening or closing of a concert.
