Three Early Piano Works (Ward Street Walk, Prelude in Db, Kelly's Rag) (2002)

Instrumentation: Piano
Approx. Running Time: 12:00

Within are three early piano works, all composed during or around the year 2002.

The “Ward Street Walk” is a rag named after a street in Geneseo, NY (where I went to undergrad).   The second work was my first classical composition of any sort, a simple prelude in a straightforward romantic voice. The third work entitled “Kelly’s Rag” was originally written for two pianos and was presented as an encore for my senior recital, with my piano teacher playing the second part. I reduced it for a single piano in the fall of 2024, twenty two years after it was written.

At this time no recordings exist of these three works.

Purchasing the score grants you a staple-bound book printed on 9 by 12 paper.
